Costs to Overseas
These are specified to each event.
The costs cannot be related to British Fundraising Offers 20% VAT
is payable by Overseas.
- ALL charities defend their parameters to capture their share
of the charitable quid.
Fundraisers need to respect our boundary rules. The big charities
have multi millions to spend on professional (High Wage)
fundraisers newspaper adverts to attract you some over £50 million
each year (Charity chuggers receive over £130 for each shopper
they harass to sign up doubtfully) Good luck to them but it is an
obscene path that is attracting tens of millions from other
charities to expansion advertising. We don’t advertise, we spend
our excess on charities who provide competitors with the safety of
hundreds of medics, disaster officials and First Aid marshals and
divers, all charitable organisations. Without whom you would not
have the event.
- We are well known and respected locally over the past 32 years
in applying charity funds directly to the purpose it was given to
help. "The Horse Sanctuary" Charity No: 1102444. You can rest
assured that this fund will provide jobs for wounded and disabled
soldiers returning to this area. We need their military discipline
to expand Tough Guy™ to greater things for this country. Helping
Us Get Kids Safely Off Streets.
WARNING : Gentlemans/Ladies Honour.
Anyone found to be in breach of these rules will receive a lifetime ban from the event.

What is the maximum number of entries allowed?
Numbers are limited to 5000 entries. So when is it
likely to fill up?
When it is full it is full. Fee Costs rise monthly to budget
requirements. Which deter the 40,000 joggers who pay £50/£60 to be a
TV waver at other great events i.e. London Marathon etc. When we
budget up, we close the entries.
When do entries close?
When it is full it is full.
Tough Guy - 10 days before for cancelisations when full.
Nettle Warrior - 10 days before for cancelisations when full.
Or for either event when entries have sold out.
Is there an age limit for Tough guy™?
Lower limit is 16 acompanied and insured. There is no upper age limit, though being able to run a 12 minute mile for 10 miles is the yardstick.
Patrick Barnes came to Tough Guy™ when he was 84 as a walking legend.
