Tough Guy™ Virus of Fear

Fear Joins Up The Club of Mouse says Mr Mouse

As I get older, I grow younger because I have discovered the secret of eternal youth.

I fear ‘fear’ and ‘fear’ fears me creating ‘fear’ for you.  ‘Timi est Orare’ translates to:- ‘To fear is to pray’.

I live with Fear every day.

Fear that I may lose your friendship.

Fear that my promise may not come true.

Fear that the income to keep this Sanctuary Haven may cease.

Fear that a thug may break in.

Fear that the computer system may go wrong.

Fear that I may give up fearing a thousand things each day and become complacent.

Fear that the evils of this world may crush the good.

Fear that the Devil may hold power over my fear of God.

Fear that God may allow me such freedom from Fear.

A True Story

In 1958 I sold my soul to the Devil in exchange for eternal youth.  For nine years I enjoyed the pleasures and sweet tunes that he gave.

Little Billy Started Tough

This is litle Billy Wilson aged 8 years old.  This was Saturday morning and each child had to queue at the gasworks in 1945 to collect ½ cwt of coke in a handmade cart or old pram or a sack on a strong back.

Little Billy Wilson had to push his pram a mile uphill from Dunstall to North Road/Red Cross Street.  On the way home he had to pass through 3 different gang territories and suffer the punishment of passing through.  The Hill Street Gang would sit him in the pram and push him back down the hill.

Sometimes Little Billy managed to steer the pram for 500 yards to skid the wall and step.
