 Mr Mouse Farm for Unfortunates

Mr Mouse farm for Unfortunates derives its’ name from the meeting in 1976 of Mr and Mrs Mouse. Mr Mouse formerly known as Billy Wilson.

A flash genius inspired by the teachings of Jesus and Confucius's message '‘Only the humble can be leaders’ caused to agree the words of Mrs Mouse, (a true country lady) ‘Let us always live in the wonderful world of children and put aside the frailties of adults’. They commenced this charity work by taking a dozen young offenders and brought them to the farm to give them a new life looking out from the window of peace in the world of helping animals. The dozen horses they started with soon grew into a hundred and once the word spread the unwanted animals flocked to their door, as so  The Horse Sanctuary (Tettenhall) was formed (Click here to go to The Horse Sanctuary web site).

Magically the word spread amongst the ne’er-done-wells, the mentally disabled and the wayside children. Humbly they gave help to all who came but although funds came there was never enough and a permanent state of hand me down living is their wont. .

Through the eighties many fund raising events were held and they gained experience of correctness in all things.
Ten years were given by Mr Mouse to the formation of road running throughout the country.

The call to resume full time fund raising on the farm brought the concept of Tough Guy in 1986.

The all year round need for organising the safe building of the course has overwhelmed all other fund raising ventures. So you will understand why they ask you to raise sponsor cash as well as your entry fee to this great event of human enjoyment.
